(Year 1 - Part 2 of 2)

Just as I was happily showing off my new pride and joy to my mates, the nightmare of owning a Mini Cooper began.........the tinworm was on the loose....!!

One evening after dinner, I went to the car park and silly stared at my new pride and joy. I then discovered a bit of rust on the underside of the driver side. So being smart bum myself, I began banging away the rust lightly with a rubber mellet. The initally thought surface rust patch became ................. Mum ................. I then jumped back inside the car and pulled up the carpet....I could see the ground. I could not believe my eyes (and myself now), I actually looked from below to double confirm I can see and touch the carpet. The freaking hole was at least 60mm diameter.

No................what have I got myself into...I bought a 4 year old rust bucket!!!!! Mum............... Mum then said to me "Told you to keep your Corolla,a complete waste of money. No eye see you!"


By the way, if you look closely to the photo the horrible looking chrome eye-lids and purposeless of the head lamps came off after a month.

I should have spent my on some other thing.
